In a significant move to promote sports and discipline, Kiran Public School, Koladiha, celebrated the inauguration of its new rifle club and shooting range. The event coincided with the birthday of school founder Ashok Kumar Singh and was inaugurated by Giridih DSP Niraj Kumar Singh. Key dignitaries present included school chairman Ashok Kumar Singh, principal Raghav Bhokta, patron Syed Sabih Ashraf, club vice president Santosh Kumar Mishra, school director and Giridih District Rifle Association vice president Rajiv Ranjan Singh, and club secretary Ravi Kumar. DSP Singh congratulated the chairman and lauded the school for establishing a facility that will nurture disciplined and courageous youth. He expressed his belief that the school would continue to contribute positively to society. The chairman, Ashok Kumar Singh, drew a parallel between achieving life goals and the precision of rifle shooting, emphasizing the importance of focus and determination. He articulated the school’s resolve to train students in rifle shooting and other forms of weaponry, positioning it as vital for personal security, societal stability, and national integrity. The inaugural session included a shooting practice for the attendees, and the event’s smooth execution was facilitated by the efforts of teachers including Choti Rawani, Shikha Swarnima, Preeti Kumari, Neetu Sinha, and Panchanand Kumar.
