Bollywood celebrities share their Yoga routine -International Yoga Day 2020 Special
International Yoga Day 2020 is just one day away. At a time when the country is combating the Kovid-19 epidemic, the activities related to its preparedness are being kept simple. Despite this, enthusiasm is being seen about them. Since mass events are not advised in the current situation, ‘Yoga at home, Yoga with family’ is being encouraged by Ministry of AYUSH to celebrate sixth International Yoga Day 2020 (IDY) at home with family.
Millions of people have already expressed their commitment to be a part of IDY-2020 and one of the goals of the Ministry of AYUSH is to achieve synergy in these Yoga performances. It is intended to achieve this goal by encouraging Yoga performance on the basis of standardized common yoga protocols at the homes of the participants at 07.00 AM on June 21, 2020. In addition, the Ministry of AYUSH has arranged to telecast a yoga session to be conducted by an instructor at DD National to facilitate harmonious practice of yoga in collaboration with Prasar Bharati. The highlight of this television program will be the Prime Minister’s Yoga Day speech which will be aired at 6.30 am.
Many celebrities and influential celebrities have shared messages and ideas motivating people to participate in the sixth International Yoga Day. These celebrities include famous film actors like Akshay Kumar, Anushka Sharma, Milind Soman and Shilpa Shetty Kundra. In his promotional messages shared with the Ministry of AYUSH, he has described Yoga as the way to live our life in a disciplined and patient way. They emphasize that yoga is a practice that unites people all over the world for a common cause and gives a message of peace and harmony. In order to prepare the public in advance for the International Yoga Day, the Ministry of AYUSH provided a lot of online resources on its digital platforms such as Yoga portals and its social media handles of YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram. Several Common Yoga Protocol sessions were broadcast on television which were watched and followed by thousands of viewers from different parts of the country. These electronic and digital resources have provided ample opportunities for people to learn yoga in their homes before International Yoga Day.
