    As soon as the police team raided to arrest the gamblers, their own companions were caught gambling. The incident is from the Kotwali police station area. Eight people, including 7 policemen and a gambler, were caught in a house on Ghothia Road in the city. Actually, Mukhbir informed SP KL Dhruv about this incident.

    The SP had directed the team of the police station to take strict action in this matter. The arrested policemen include 4 constables, 1 assistant constable and two city soldiers. Policemen were arrested and brought to the police station and action was taken against them under the Gambling Act. Officials said that departmental action will also be taken against these accused policemen.
