JAIPUR: Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Saturday stated his authorities has taken incidents like these in Bhilwara and Jodhpur very significantly and has directed the state police to deal strictly with folks concerned in crimes in opposition to ladies.

“Some mischievous (manchale) boys spoil the whole atmosphere. Yesterday, we told the Director General of Police, the Chief Secretary and other officers to bring them to justice,” the chief minister earlier instructed reporters.

“The government is taking incidents like those in Bhilwara and Jodhpur very seriously and efforts are being made to punish the culprits at the earliest,” he stated.

He stated folks with a legal mindset who misbehave with ladies is not going to be tolerated within the state.

Asked concerning the opposition BJP’s criticism of the legislation and order difficulty, Gehlot stated the celebration was intentionally attempting to create a notion “that is far from reality”.

“Manipur is burning. And you compare Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh with that state. This is pure politics. We reject it,” he stated.
