Rahul Gandhi will be leading a ‘Vote Adhikar Yatra’ in Bihar, commencing on August 17th, to address the issue of alleged vote theft. The yatra, which is expected to last for 16 days, will cover 24 districts within the state, starting from Rohtas. The core purpose of this yatra is to oppose the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of voter lists. The campaign will culminate in a rally in Patna on September 1st. Key leaders from the ‘India’ alliance, including Tejashwi Yadav and other partners, are expected to participate. The yatra intends to demonstrate the collective strength of the ‘India’ bloc and to raise awareness about irregularities in voter lists before the upcoming elections. The journey will include stops in various locations, including Aurangabad, Gaya, and Muzaffarpur.
