Communal violence erupted in Mundaka village, Haryana, following a dispute over a vehicle. The incident stemmed from an argument between two individuals, escalating into wider clashes between communities. The initial event involved a vehicle parked on the road by Isra’s son. When Samey Singh asked that the vehicle be moved, an attack occurred. The situation escalated, with supporters from both sides gathering and engaging in stone-pelting, resulting in the burning of shops and a motorcycle. Isra’s granddaughter explained how a minor argument quickly became a communal issue, leading to the destruction of their property and a motorcycle. She stated their home was targeted with stones. Police are reviewing CCTV footage to identify those involved. An FIR has been filed, and arrests have been made. The village Sarpanch alleges the family of Isra held a grudge stemming from the 2023 violence. It is claimed the attack on Samey Singh was part of a planned event, with a mosque issuing announcements. Police have made arrests, and some suspects remain at large. The village is gripped by fear, and residents have requested increased security, including a police post. Nuh SP Rajesh Kumar reported that the initial dispute between two youths resulted in a physical altercation, and the police were able to bring the situation under control.
