The results of the Uttarakhand three-tier Panchayat elections are being compiled, with the BJP emerging as a key winner. BJP-backed candidates have secured a total of 125 seats out of 358 in the district panchayats. The Congress party has also demonstrated a strong presence, with its candidates winning 83 seats. The election also saw the success of 150 independent candidates. A significant number of these independent winners are considered to be aligned with the BJP, with several publicly declaring their backing for the party. The final results are anticipated soon from the Election Commission. The entire election process was completed in a peaceful and orderly manner, with the support of administrative and security personnel.
