Uttarakhand govt points alert after glacier reportedly breaks in Sumna space of Niti Valley
1 min read The Uttarakhand authorities issued an alert late Friday night time after the breakdown of a glacier in Sumna space of Niti Valley. Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat mentioned he has alerted the native administration and was in fixed contact with the district administration and BRO.
“Glacier breakdown has been reported in Sumna, Neeti Valley. I have released alert in this regard. I am in constant touch with the district administration and BRO,” Rawat tweeted.

He additional mentioned the district administration has been instructed to get full details about the case. In NTPC and different tasks, orders have been given to cease work at night time in order that no untoward incident happens, he mentioned.
