Lucknow: A big decision has come to light in Uttar Pradesh politics. Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief and former Chief Minister Mayawati has shown his nephew Akash Anand out of the party. This step was taken when he was removed from all the posts of the party a day earlier. Behind this decision, Mayawati has given the main reason for Akash Anand’s father -in -law Ashok Siddharth to be the main reason.
Mayawati’s big announcement on X (Twitter)
Mayawati shared a post on X (East Twitter) in this regard, in which she clarified why it was decided to expel Akash Anand from the party. they wrote-
“At the BSP’s All-India meeting yesterday, Akash Anand was freed from all the responsibilities including the National Coordinator due to his father-in-law Ashok Siddharth, who was expelled from the party more than the party, was freed from all the responsibilities, which he had to show his maturity by retirement.”
Mayawati further said that Akash Anand’s statement on this issue shows the lack of her political maturity.
The reason for ‘Maha-dispute’ became a reaction to Akash Anand!
After Mayawati’s move, the stir in the political corridors intensified. According to internal sources in the BSP, Akash Anand’s response further spoiled the matter. Mayawati wrote –
“But the contrary that Akash has given his long reaction, it is not mostly selfish, arrogant and non-mesnary with his father-in-law’s influence, not of his regrets and political maturity.”
After this statement, it became clear that Akash Anand and his father -in -law Ashok Siddharth feared a deep political conspiracy, which was going against the discipline of the BSP.
Akash Anand: ‘Way out’ from ‘face of youth’
There was a time when Akash Anand was being seen as Mayawati’s successor. His popularity among the young BSP’s young supporters was growing rapidly, and he was being promoted as the future of the party. But this sudden earthquake put a big brake on his political ambitions.
In the year 2023, she was entrusted with the responsibility of National Coordinator by Mayawati. He participated in several rallies and represented the party. But his career is now hanging in the balance.
What is Ashok Siddharth’s ‘game’?
Mayawati also indicated that Akash Anand had come under the influence of her father -in -law Ashok Siddharth. Ashok Siddharth, who himself is a strong Dalit leader, had a deep penetration inside the party for a long time. But now the question is arising whether he was plotting against the party?
According to sources, Ashok Siddharth was trying to influence many decisions within the party, causing Mayawati to be unhappy. That is why he did not take long to exclude his nephew as well.
Will there be a rebellion in BSP?
Now the question arises whether the BSP may revolt against this decision? The number of supporters of Akash Anand in the party is also no less. Many young workers were in his favor and were seeing him as the next big leader of the BSP.
If Akash Anand moves to another party or makes a different political path of himself, it can prove to be a shock for the BSP. At the same time, some political experts believe that Mayawati wants to strengthen her hold on the party through this step and will not tolerate indiscipline at all.
What will be the effect in UP politics?
This decision in Uttar Pradesh politics can have a far -reaching impact. Before the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the BSP is currently trying to strengthen its base. Mayawati has always given priority to party discipline, and this step is an example of her tough leadership.
At the same time, the opposing parties will try their best to capitalize on this issue. Samajwadi Party (SP) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) can use this development for their political gains.
Now what next?
After the expulsion of Akash Anand, it will now be interesting to see what stance he takes. Will he try to reconcile Mayawati, or will he walk on a new political path?
With this decision, Mayawati once again proved that she will not tolerate any kind of indiscipline, even if she is a member of her family.
