On 31 May 2025, the day recorded in the pages of history proved to be a grand inauguration of India’s largest advocate Chamber and multilevel parking in the Allahabad Highcourt campus. The specialty of this program was that the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court (Chief Justice of India) inaugurated BR Gavai, with whom Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Union Minister of State for Law, Arjun Ram Meghwal, other judges of the Supreme Court and many dignitaries of the state were present.

Allahabad High Court Chief Justice Justice Arun Bhansali gave a welcome address at the inauguration ceremony, saying that this advocate Chamber and Multilavel Parking will prove to be a milestone in the history of Allahabad High Court. He said that this advocate chamber is spread over an area of 20 lakh sq ft and it is the largest chamber in the country. Along with this, multilevel parking facility is also included, which will write a new convenience and security for the visitors of the lawyers and the court.
Special contribution of UP government, involvement of modern facilities in advocate chamber
The Chief Justice expressed gratitude to the UP government and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, with the help of which this grand construction could be possible. Modern facilities like library, dining hall, conference and meeting room, post office, SBI branch have been provided in the Advocate Chamber, which will provide immense benefits to the judiciary and advocates.
Welcome and honor of Supreme Court judges
Supreme Court Justices Pankaj Mitthal, Manoj Mishra, Suryakant, JK Maheshwari, Vikram Nath and BV Nagaratna were also present in the program, which Bhansali specially thanked. This highest level judges of the judiciary appreciated the efforts to improve the state’s judge and expansion facility.
