Uttar Pradesh Deputy CM Brijesh Pathak spoke about the judicial commission’s report on the Sambhal violence. He said that the report had been submitted to the Chief Minister. Pathak raised concerns over demographic changes in Uttar Pradesh, alleging these were orchestrated by organized groups with foreign backing. He mentioned that in 1924, Jawaharlal Nehru investigated events in Sambhal and submitted a report. He stated that the report documented the attacks on Hindus by Muslim rioters. Pathak criticized the previous governments for not addressing the problems faced by Hindus in Sambhal. Pathak also highlighted the current government’s efforts to improve law and order, address electricity theft, and stop insurance scams in Sambhal. He also mentioned that in the previous government, there was an appeasement policy.
