A search is underway in Delhi for Sneha Debnath, a 19-year-old student from Tripura, following her disappearance on July 7. Chief Minister Manik Saha has intervened, ordering the police to take immediate action. Debnath, a student at Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College, last spoke with her family around 5:56 AM on July 7, mentioning she was going to meet a friend at Sarai Rohilla Railway station. Attempts to reach her later were unsuccessful, and it was determined that she did not meet her friend. The investigation revealed that a cab driver dropped her near the Signature Bridge. Despite an exhaustive search conducted by the Delhi police and the NDRF around the bridge, no new information has surfaced. The family has reported that all her personal items were with her and there was no activity on her bank account. The Chief Minister’s Office has acknowledged the matter and issued instructions for immediate and appropriate action.
