LJP (Ram Vilas) president and Union Minister Chirag Paswan has launched a scathing attack on the Nitish Kumar-led Bihar government, citing the rising crime rate as a major concern. He expressed his disappointment in supporting the current administration, pointing to the increase in violent crimes such as murder, kidnapping, and sexual assault. Paswan warned that the situation, if unchecked, could have dire consequences.
He also addressed the possibility of the incidents being a conspiracy but emphasized that the administration must address the issue. He urged the Bihar government to take immediate steps. This criticism came after a recent incident in Gaya, Bihar, where a woman was allegedly raped in an ambulance by the driver and technician while being taken to the hospital after collapsing during a Home Guard recruitment examination. Police have arrested the accused, and an investigation is ongoing.
