Udaipur killing: Court sends one other accused to NIA’s custody until July 12

JAIPUR: A chosen NIA court docket right here on Tuesday despatched one other accused arrested within the case of tailor Kanhaiya Lal’s killing in Udaipur to the company’s custody until July 12.

The accused, Mohammad Mohsin, was introduced earlier than the court docket by a National Investigation Agency (NIA) workforce amid tight safety preparations.

“After the hearing of the case, the court remanded Mohammad Mohsin in the NIA’s custody till July 12,” Special Public Prosecutor TP Sharma mentioned.

Sources mentioned Mohsin was arrested on Monday for his alleged involvement within the conspiracy to kill Lal and in finishing up a reconnaissance of his store.

On July 2, the primary accused — Riaz Akhtari and Ghouse Mohammad — who have been arrested hours after they allegedly hacked Lal to demise on June 28, and two different accused — Mohsin and Asif — who have been arrested on June 30 for allegedly being concerned within the conspiracy to kill the tailor and in finishing up a reconnaissance of his store, have been produced within the designated court docket, which is a particular CBI court docket in Jaipur, amid tight safety preparations. The court docket had despatched them to the NIA’s custody until July 12.
