Security forces have arrested two militant associates of Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) outfit and recovered incriminating supplies from their possession in Bandipora district of Jammu and Kashmir, police mentioned on Saturday.

Acting on particular inputs, safety forces established a checkpoint close to Papachan-Bandipora Bridge and apprehended two militant associates linked with the proscribed outfit LeT on Friday, a police official mentioned.

He recognized them as Abid Waza and Bashir Ahmad Gojer, each residents of Bandipora in north Kashmir.

The official mentioned as per the police information, they have been concerned in offering shelter, logistics and different assist to the energetic militants within the space.

They have been tasked by their handlers to hold out a grenade assault on safety forces in Bandipora, he mentioned.

Incriminating supplies, together with two reside hand grenades have been recovered from their possession and all of the recovered materials was taken into case information for additional investigation, the official mentioned.
