A devastating truck accident in Nashik resulted in the deaths of a 50-year-old woman and her 22-year-old pregnant daughter. The incident occurred on Tuesday evening when they were crossing a road in the Nashik Road area, near the Muktidham temple. The truck initially hit a car and two auto-rickshaws before striking Sunita Waghamare and her daughter, Sheetal Kedare. Sunita died at the scene. Her daughter, Sheetal Kedare, succumbed to her injuries on Wednesday morning. Kedare was residing with her parents in preparation for her delivery. The police have arrested the truck driver and are investigating the case. Separately, a truck carrying chemicals overturned and caught fire on the Bareilly-Jaipur Highway near Manoharpur Anand Ghadi in Mathura. The fire department responded to the scene, and efforts to control the fire are ongoing. There have been no reports of injuries or fatalities in that incident.
