Terrorist killed as Army foils infiltration bid in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri

JAMMU: A terrorist was killed on Saturday because the Army foiled an infiltration bid alongside the Line of Control (LoC) in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir, a defence spokesman stated.

An alert Army patrol observed the motion of the terrorist making an attempt to cross the border within the Lam sector of Naushera and challenged him, the spokesman stated.

The terrorist opened fireplace and was killed within the ensuing gunfight, the spokesman stated, including the physique has been retrieved.

Officials stated reinforcements have been rushed to the location of the encounter and a counter-infiltration operation was underway.
