Passengers traveling from Lucknow to Dehradun faced delays due to a technical issue on an IndiGo flight. The flight, identified as 6E 515, was preparing for departure when the problem emerged, forcing the aircraft to be moved to the taxiway. Engineers are currently working to fix the technical fault.
The incident caused inconvenience, especially for those traveling during the Raksha Bandhan festival. The flight had a total of 158 passengers and 6 crew members. This is the second instance of a technical issue on an IndiGo flight at the Lucknow Airport.
In a separate incident, a training aircraft in Baramati, Maharashtra, was involved in an incident during landing. Initial reports suggest a technical fault with the front wheel caused the incident. The training aircraft belonged to the Red Bird training institute. The incident happened at approximately 7:45 am. No injuries were reported. This event follows a request from the BJP Yuva Morcha to revoke Red Bird’s certification.
