New Delhi: Seven eminent personalities together with former Japanese prime minister Shinzo Abe and musical maestro SP Balasubramaniam have been honoured with Padma Awards, one of many highest civilian awards conferred by the President on the eve of Republic Day yearly.
These awards are given for disciplines or fields of actions similar to artwork, social work, public affairs, science and engineering, commerce and trade, drugs, literature and training, sports activities and civil service.
