Sonam Raghuvanshi and Raj Kushwaha have been sent to 13 days of judicial custody by a district and sessions court in Shillong, Meghalaya, in connection with the murder of Raja Raghuvanshi. The police did not ask for custody. The court granted judicial custody. Previously, Akash Rajput, Vishal Singh Chauhan, and Anand were also sent to 14-day judicial custody. The case involves the murder of Raja Raghuvanshi, who was on his honeymoon. His body was found in a gorge near Sohra (Cherrapunji). The police reconstructed the crime scene with the suspects. The SP stated that the reconstruction clarified details of the crime. Investigators are still trying to locate a machete used in the murder. Authorities also found that Sonam and Vishal damaged the victim’s phone after the crime.
