Reena’s complaint accuses her in-laws of consistent domestic violence, including a prolonged effort to remove her from the household. The complaint states she was beaten after objecting to the secret filming, and her daughter was also harmed. The authorities have taken action, registering a case under the relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), following the incident and the video’s circulation.
