Samir K Modi’s remand has been extended by two days by the Saket Court following a request from the Delhi police. The court also asked for an investigation into Modi’s complaint, with the hearing conducted behind closed doors. Modi, the founder of Modicare, was arrested at the Indira Gandhi International Airport. The arrest followed a Look Out Circular issued by the New Friends Colony Police Station, and is related to accusations of rape. The FIR was registered on September 10, 2025, based on a woman’s complaint claiming a relationship with Modi since 2019.
