NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired a gathering of the Cabinet Committee on Security on Thursday after Russia launched an assault on Ukraine.

Sources mentioned Modi can also be prone to communicate with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Besides Modi, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Home minister Amit Shah and External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar have been seen in a video of the assembly shared by official sources.
