The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has invited the mother of Supreme Court Chief Justice Bhushan Gavai to their upcoming event in Amravati on October 5th. The event is a special occasion marking the Vijayadashami festival and the completion of 100 years of the RSS. The CJI’s brother confirmed the invitation. However, the invitation has prompted discussions because of a letter allegedly written by Kamalbai Gavai, which expresses her disagreements with Hindu ideology. While there’s no confirmation regarding the letter’s authenticity, her son, Rajendra Gavai, has stated that his mother will be attending the event. Sources suggest that Kamalatai Gavai had initially declined the invitation, adhering to the Ambedkarite ideology and the Indian constitution. Rajendra Gavai, a leader of the Republican Party, shared that his mother accepted the invitation and will attend the event, and they have maintained cordial relationships with the RSS despite differing viewpoints.
