A serious road accident in Andhra Pradesh’s Annamayya district claimed the lives of three people and left five others critically injured after a lorry collided with a tempo traveller on Monday. The accident took place in Kurabalakota Mandal, Tamballapalle Constituency, near Dommanna Bavi. Sub-Inspector Dilip stated that the collision involved an unidentified lorry and a tempo traveller. The injured were promptly rushed to Madanapalle Government Hospital via the 108 ambulance service for urgent medical care. The state’s Transport Minister Mandipalli Ram Prasad Reddy expressed his condolences to the families affected by the tragedy and instructed hospital officials to provide immediate treatment to the injured. He also directed the transport authorities to initiate immediate rescue operations at the accident location. A case has been registered, and an investigation is ongoing, according to Sub-Inspector Dilip.
