Leaders from various political parties and Union Ministers were also present to pay their respects to the former Prime Minister and BJP leader. Vajpayee, a significant figure in Indian political history, served as Prime Minister on three different occasions and was a recipient of the Bharat Ratna. His birthday is commemorated as ‘Good Governance Day’. Both President Murmu and Prime Minister Modi offered their respects, with the latter sharing messages reflecting on Vajpayee’s contributions to the nation. The Prime Minister highlighted the importance of Vajpayee’s dedication in building a developed and self-reliant India.
