Gaya Police showcased exceptional efficiency by rescuing a kidnapped youth within six hours of the crime being reported. The youth was abducted while on his way to Gangti Bazaar. The incident occurred near Baghiya Mor, Imamganj, on August 6th, and the kidnappers demanded a ransom of 8 lakh rupees.
An FIR was promptly filed at Imamganj Police Station, triggering an immediate investigation. The Senior Superintendent of Police, Gaya, oversaw the swift action that led to the arrest of the criminals and the safe return of the victim.

The Technical Branch of Gaya Police played a key role in the successful outcome.
Under the direction of the City Superintendent of Police, Gaya, and the Sub-Divisional Police Officer, Imamganj, a special team was formed. The team included personnel from the Imamganj, Chakrabandha, Magra, and Bhadwar police stations, alongside technical experts from Gaya, demonstrating a collaborative approach.
The special team used advanced technical methods and intelligence to identify potential hiding places, leading to raids in the Pichhulia forest of Chakrabandha. This decisive action resulted in the liberation of the kidnapped youth, Munnavar Khan alias Tabbu Khan, who was found near Nakti Bridge, Imamganj.
Kidnapping Planned in Advance
During questioning, the rescued youth stated the kidnapping was a pre-planned event with multiple individuals involved. The police have identified the vehicle and are actively seeking the arrest of those involved through ongoing raids.
