An Indian Air Force (IAF) Jaguar Trainer aircraft crashed near Banoda village in Churu district, Rajasthan, on Wednesday. The incident, which occurred during a training mission around 1:25 PM, resulted in the deaths of both pilots. The IAF reported that no damage to civilian property was recorded. An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the crash.
This incident highlights a concerning trend. In April, another Jaguar aircraft crashed shortly after taking off from the Jamnagar Airbase due to a technical fault, with one pilot losing his life. In March 2025, a fighter jet crashed during a routine training mission in the Panchkula district of Haryana, although the pilot ejected safely.
