Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has expressed his distress over the Raja Raghuvanshi murder case, where a newlywed man from Indore was allegedly murdered during his honeymoon in Meghalaya. The primary suspect is believed to be his wife, Sonam Raghuvanshi.
Mohan Yadav termed the incident as ‘painful’ and a lesson for society. He emphasized the necessity of thoroughness in marriage arrangements and cautioned against permitting young couples to travel long distances. He expressed his emotional response to the tragic circumstances.
Four individuals have been arrested in connection with the murder: Akash Rajput, Vishal Singh Chauhan, Raj Singh Kushwaha, and Anand. They are set to be taken to Shillong after transit remand formalities are completed. The police previously located Sonam Raghuvanshi, the prime suspect, in Uttar Pradesh. She was later handed over to Meghalaya Police after a medical examination.
