Punjab: 3 of a household discovered lifeless, probe on

In a stunning incident, three members of a household had been discovered lifeless beneath mysterious circumstances at their residence in village Malpur Arkan of district Nawanshahr on the intervening evening of Monday and Tuesday. The deceased included Jeet Ram (80), his spouse Chano Devi (78) and their daughter Yamuna Devi (45).
The three had consumed some toxic substance, sources mentioned. Police, nevertheless, are but to establish the reason for the dying.
It can also be learnt that Yamuna was to get married throughout this weekend and on Tuesday morning, when the villagers and other people from the groom’s aspect got here to their home and knocked the door there was no response from inside.
