The demonstration began as the Jan Suraaj group tried to reach the Bihar Assembly but were stopped by police, resulting in a tense standoff. Kishor has also voiced his concerns regarding the government’s handling of child labor. Police officials confirmed that the protesters were stopped from advancing beyond a specific zone near the Assembly and that dialogue was ongoing to resolve the situation.
