This Saturday, September 13th, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting Manipur. This visit is particularly noteworthy as it is his first since the 2023 eruption of violence between the Kuki and Meitei communities. The visit will see the launch of numerous development projects. Projects in Churachandpur are valued at over Rs 7,300 crore, with Imphal projects exceeding Rs 1,200 crore. The Prime Minister will travel to Aizwal, Churachandpur and Imphal, ending his trip in Guwahati, Assam, where he is scheduled to participate in a special event celebrating the 100th birth anniversary of the renowned singer-composer Dr. Bhupen Hazarika.
