Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be in Gujarat for a two-day visit, commencing on August 25th. A central element of the visit will be the inauguration of major projects worth over Rs 5,400 crore. These projects span various key sectors including railways, roads, energy infrastructure, and urban development. Specific projects include road connectivity improvements, power distribution ventures valued at Rs 1,000 crore, a state-level data center located in Gandhinagar, railway upgrades estimated at Rs 1,400 crore, and initiatives aimed at slum redevelopment. The Ahmedabad Police have also issued a traffic advisory due to the PM’s rally at Khodaldham Midan today, with significant traffic diversions and restrictions in the Nikol area.
