Farmers across the country are awaiting the 20th installment of the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. This installment, expected to be released in July 2025, will provide ₹2,000 to eligible farmers. The scheme typically disburses installments every four months, with the previous installment released in February 2025. Farmers should take immediate action to ensure they receive the upcoming payment without any issues. Crucially, farmers must complete their e-KYC, link their Aadhaar with their bank accounts, and verify that their bank details are accurate. Updating land records and ensuring the mobile number provided is active and correct are also vital. Additionally, farmers should verify their name on the beneficiary list. Errors in address or land details can render a farmer ineligible. The PM-Kisan website, accessible at https://pmkisan.gov.in, allows farmers to update their address information. Alternatively, assistance can be sought at a Common Service Center (CSC). Completing e-KYC is mandatory for payment processing, and it can be done via OTP, biometric verification, or face authentication. Farmers can track their installment status on the PM-Kisan website. To be eligible for the scheme, farmers must be Indian citizens, owners of cultivable land, and classified as small or marginal farmers. Those receiving a pension of ₹10,000 or more, paying income tax, or holding institutional land are not eligible. New farmers can apply for the scheme online.
