A 25-year-old tech professional has been arrested in Bengaluru for the murder of a 33-year-old woman. The incident took place in an OYO hotel room on June 6th. The victim, identified as Harini, and the accused, Yashas, were residents of Kenegeri. A case has been registered at the Subramanyapura Police Station. The motive for the brutal attack was reportedly the woman’s desire to end the relationship, leading the accused to stab her 17 times. Harini was a mother of two children and was experiencing family-related issues. Separately, a man named Krishna was arrested in Electronic City, Bengaluru, in April for the murder of his wife, Sharda, near Big Toguru. Authorities suspect the motive to be an extramarital affair.
