In Delhi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah felicitated the soldiers who participated in Operation Mahadev. The operation successfully neutralized terrorists involved in the Pahalgam terror attack. Speaking to the troops, Amit Shah stated that the soldiers have demonstrated to the world that terrorists, no matter their strategies, can no longer harm India and evade consequences.
Home Minister Amit Shah, addressing the success of Operation Mahadev, extended his congratulations on behalf of Prime Minister Modi and the entire population to all security forces for reinforcing the sense of security among the citizens of India.
He noted that the Pahalgam attack was a failed attempt to derail the ‘Kashmir Mission’ during a period of peak tourism in Kashmir. Operation Sindoor brought satisfaction, but Operation Mahadev has transformed that satisfaction into confidence. Operations Sindoor and Mahadev have sent a clear message to the masterminds of terror about the consequences of endangering the lives of Indian citizens.
Highlighting the significance, Shah stressed that the assurance of security is the cornerstone of India’s ambition to achieve global leadership in every sector. Technical analysis by the NIA’s FSL has confirmed that the terrorists killed in Operation Mahadev were responsible for the atrocities in Pahalgam. The soldiers have shown the world that terrorists, regardless of their evolving tactics and strategies, cannot escape after harming India.
He stated that alongside the army and paramilitary forces, the Jammu and Kashmir Police is now actively engaged in the fight against terrorism. Both Operation Sindoor and Mahadev were met with expressions of joy, enthusiasm, and widespread support for the security forces, irrespective of political views.
