MVA govt operating on ‘extortion’, misplaced ethical authority to manipulate, says Ravi Shankar Prasad

The BJP on Tuesday attacked the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) authorities in Maharashtra, accusing it of shedding the “moral authority” to manipulate. Union Minister and senior BJP chief Ravi Shankar Prasad mentioned the state authorities is operating on “extortion.”
Citing former Mumbai Police commissioner Param Bir Singh’s allegations towards state Home Minister Anil Deshmukh, Prasad mentioned it was the “first time in the country’s history” {that a} police commissioner had levelled a corruption cost towards a sitting Home Minister.
