More than 50 lakh healthcare and frontline staff have been vaccinated towards coronavirus in 21 days in India which is the quickest price on this planet, Minister of State for Health Ashwini Choubey instructed the Rajya Sabha on Tuesday.

A complete of 93.6 lakh healthcare and 77.9 lakh frontline staff had been registered for the vaccination until January 31, the minister stated in a written reply. He stated 37.58 lakh staff had been vaccinated until January 31.

“Initially the coverage was lowà however, the rate of vaccination coverage has subsequently increased,” Choubey stated.

Asked if the healthcare and frontline staff usually are not assured of the vaccine accessible for them, the MoS stated, “This is not a fact. More than 50 lakh healthcare and frontline workers have been vaccinated in 21 days in India which is the fastest rate in the world.”
