In Gaya, Bihar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched development projects worth nearly Rs 13,000 crore, accompanied by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and other officials. He inaugurated the Amrit Bharat Express and the Buddhist Circuit Train to improve travel and tourism. During his address, the Prime Minister sharply criticized the RJD’s past administration, describing it as a period of stagnation and hardship. He said that the region suffered under the RJD’s rule, which he characterized as an ‘era of darkness.’ Modi highlighted the ongoing efforts to promote development in Gaya, including initiatives related to energy, development, and health. He also oversaw the distribution of new homes with essential amenities to recipients of the PM-Awas Yojana, and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to providing housing for all eligible citizens. He emphasized the improved living conditions for the beneficiaries of PM-Awas Yojana.
