Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has urged a CBI investigation into the case of an Indore couple, Raja Raghuvanshi and Sonam, who went missing in Shillong. Raja was found dead, and Sonam is still missing. Yadav has communicated with the Chief Minister of Meghalaya and is coordinating with senior police officials. The family previously requested a CBI probe by writing to the Prime Minister. The couple was last seen on their honeymoon on May 23, with Raja’s remains recovered from a gorge near Cherrapunji on June 2. Vipul Raghuvanshi, Raja’s brother, has said the family seeks justice and help in finding Sonam through a CBI inquiry. Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma has offered condolences and promised action.
