Man arrested in Uttar Pradesh’s Ballia for objectionable Facebook publish on Prophet Mohammad

BALLIA: A youth has been arrested in Rasra space right here for allegedly posting an objectionable content material towards Prophet Mohammad on a social media web site, a police official stated on Monday.

Krishna Kumar, who had posted the objectionable Facebook publish on Sunday, was arrested, Circle Officer (Rasra) Shiv Narain Vaish stated.

The case has been registered towards him on the criticism of Sheikh Huzaifa, a member of Jamiat Ulama, who in a tweet on Sunday urged the police to take motion towards the accused.

Taking cognizance of the criticism, police on Monday arrested Krishna Kumar, the CO added.
