A 14-year-old boy in Lucknow died by suicide due to an addiction to online gaming, resulting in the loss of 14 lakh rupees from his father’s account, according to the police. DCP South Nipun Aggarwal has advised parents to closely monitor their children’s online activities. The boy’s suicide occurred after he was reprimanded by his father for the financial loss. The investigation revealed that the money was earmarked for the boy’s medical needs.
