Vrindavan’s revered saint, Premanand Maharaj Ji, is currently experiencing a health crisis that has led to the suspension of his daily spiritual walks. For the past three days, his customary ‘padyatra’ has been halted, as confirmed by an official notice from the Shri Kali Kunj Ashram, citing health reasons for the indefinite pause.
This development comes amidst reports that Premanand Maharaj Ji has been diagnosed with kidney failure, affecting the function of both his kidneys. His current condition is visibly marked by swollen, red eyes and a puffy face, as depicted in a widely shared video on his official social media. Devotees are expressing deep concern and sending their support to the spiritual leader.
Sources suggest that the Maharaj has been dealing with kidney complications for nearly 18 years. The intensity of his treatment has increased, with dialysis now a daily necessity, up from five times a week. Despite these significant health challenges, Premanand Maharaj Ji has actively communicated with his followers, reassuring them that he is not in the ICU and cautioning against misinformation. He continues to maintain his spiritual schedule, including early morning prayers and satsangs, drawing spiritual energy from his deep devotion. His resilience in the face of severe illness serves as an inspiration, showcasing his profound dedication to his spiritual path and his followers.
