Speaking at a public event, Shivakumar highlighted the work being done under Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, emphasizing the impact of the Congress’s ‘hand’ symbol, which he claimed had silenced critics and strengthened farmers. He pointed out the Congress’s commitment to public welfare, the commencement of projects worth Rs 2,578 crores, and the use of World Bank funds to revolutionize education. Shivakumar was in Mysuru for a public event and a ‘Sadhana’ conference. Concurrently, an escort vehicle within his convoy overturned on the Bengaluru-Mysuru Expressway, resulting in injuries to five individuals. Shivakumar was not hurt in the accident and proceeded with his schedule to Bengaluru.
