A young man named Muntazir Ansari was found dead in the Lavalong forest of Chatra, Jharkhand. Police investigation led to the arrest of his girlfriend, Guljahan Parveen, who confessed to the murder. The couple’s relationship was strained by Muntazir possessing explicit photos and videos of Guljahan. When Guljahan’s family arranged her marriage to another man, Muntazir started threatening to make the photos and videos public if she proceeded with the wedding. The blackmail and threats became unbearable for Guljahan, who then made the decision to kill Muntazir to end the cycle of abuse. She lured him to a meeting in the forest, where she attacked him with a knife after he refused to delete the content. Muntazir died from his injuries, and Guljahan was arrested. She revealed to the police that she was trying to move on with her life.
