In a significant act of community support, warm blankets were distributed to Musahar families in the Chiyanki Pahad region of Palamu, addressing the immediate threat of the winter chill. These families had been enduring the cold with minimal protection, making it difficult to survive the frigid nights. The distribution was spearheaded by Sadar Block Development Officer, Jago Mahto, and Chiyanki Mukhiya, Binko Uraon.
BDO Jago Mahto emphasized the crucial role the blankets would play in shielding the families from the harsh weather. He expressed his profound belief in the virtue of serving the poor and needy, finding great fulfillment in such acts of kindness. The BDO’s initiative brought immediate comfort and reassurance to the residents.
Mukhiya Binko Uraon outlined the comprehensive support being provided to the Musahar community, including efforts to secure housing, pensions, and other essential government services. He assured that these families are a top priority for all welfare programs. Uraon lauded the BDO’s efforts and promised transparent distribution of further aid. The positive economic impact of the Chiyanki market was also noted during the event.
