A devastating tragedy has struck in the Kharsawan area of Seraikela-Kharsawan district, Jharkhand, where four young men drowned in a check dam. The incident happened in Dalailala village when a group of six friends went to swim. While two stayed on the bank, the other four entered the water and subsequently drowned.
It’s believed the victims may have struck their heads on a submerged object. The police were notified, recovered the bodies, and initiated a post-mortem examination. The local community is deeply saddened by this tragic loss. This incident mirrors a similar incident in Garhwa district where four children died while swimming in a pond.
