A coordinated series of burglaries has left residents of Baijnath Nagar in Tilaiya, Koderma, in shock. On Sunday night, thieves targeted three homes, successfully pilfering a large quantity of cash and valuable jewelry. While one of the break-in attempts was unsuccessful, two households suffered significant financial and material losses. A particularly unnerving detail found at one of the robbed homes was an empty liquor bottle, suggesting the perpetrators may have been intoxicated during the commission of the crimes. This adds a layer of recklessness to the audacious heists. Tilaiya police swiftly responded to the incidents and are currently conducting a detailed investigation at the affected properties. Anil Saw, one of the victims, shared that he was away in Gaon Chhatiyari when he received news from neighbors about his broken home. He returned to find his house in chaos and confirmed the disappearance of approximately three lakh rupees in cash and several pieces of jewelry. The police are working diligently to apprehend the culprits.
