All arrangements have been finalized for the Dashakarma of former Jharkhand Chief Minister and Dishom Guru, Shibu Soren. The Dashakarma ceremony will be held on August 15th, following Santhali customs, with the Sanskar Bhoj to be held on August 16th. On Thursday, Chief Minister Hemant Soren, along with his family, performed traditional rites to honor the departed soul. Consultations regarding the Shraddha ceremony were held with Deepmani Soren, a senior member of the family.
The Sanskar Bhoj is expected to draw a crowd of distinguished guests from the state and across India. Administrative preparations for the event are nearly complete. Parking arrangements have been made at locations including Lukaiyatand. Three helipads are ready at Lukaiyatand, and a fourth has been constructed near the ancestral residence. Security will be provided by 10 IPS officers, 60 DSPs, 65 inspectors and around 2500+ police personnel. The district administration will maintain a high state of alert to maintain law and order. Teams of police, administrators, and volunteers will work 24/7 to manage traffic, provide emergency services, and control the crowds.

Chief Minister Hemant Soren inspected the preparations for the Shraddha Karma of Dishom Guru Shibu Soren. He drove an e-rickshaw around the venue, reviewing the arrangements in each pandal. The Chief Minister instructed officials to ensure ample security, hygiene, drinking water, parking, tenting, seating and toilet facilities for all attendees. He also directed the need for efficient traffic management to avoid any issues. The Deputy Commissioner, Superintendent of Police, senior district officials, officials from various departments, and residents of Nemra village were present during the inspection.
