In Ranchi, Chief Minister Hemant Soren conducted a comprehensive review of proposed flyover projects, examining the designs and work plans for three crucial projects. The meeting was held at the Chief Minister’s residential office on Kanke Road. A detailed presentation on the flyover project from Harmu (Sahjanand Chowk) to the ACB office was reviewed. The Chief Minister highlighted that the Harmu flyover is critical in addressing the traffic issues, citing the frequent traffic congestion on the Harmu bypass road, which impacts commuters. The flyover aims to improve mobility and save travel time for the public. He instructed officials to integrate this flyover with the Ratu Road flyover. The Road Construction Department confirmed that the tendering process for the Harmu to ACB office flyover was complete. Discussions also encompassed the flyover projects from Argora Chowk to Kathal Mor and from Karam Toli Chowk to Science City, where the Chief Minister provided key guidance. The Chief Minister directed officials to finalize a detailed work plan and DPR, and to move forward with project implementation. The construction of a roundabout above Argora Chowk was also instructed, which would link multiple roads, improving traffic movement. The elevated four-lane flyover project from Karam Toli Chowk to Science City and the planned road construction from the proposed Doctors Colony to Hill View Bariatu Road were also discussed. The Chief Minister emphasized that the Road Construction Department should incorporate future requirements in the design and implementation of the flyover projects. The focus is on ensuring the projects are completed with diligence and commitment. Present at the meeting were senior officials from the Road Construction Department and consulting firms.
